Amanda grew up with bulldogs & horses – animals have always been a passion & a bulldog with a dumbbell was always going to lead somewhere. Amanda now has 3 dogs, Sunny – a collie x Saluki, Blush – a working sheepdog & more recently a border collie puppy Race. They compete in agility & work with other dogs in building confidence & learning to have fun together.

Amanda also owns a successful pet care business that started back in 2012 in Essex and more recently in Suffolk. Her expertise lays with reading rescue dogs – fostering & rehabilitating many foster dogs, rehabilitation still a passion of hers. Fostering young puppies as young as 6 weeks to older working sheepdogs who have only ever lived in a barn, working with behavioural issues including new puppy life skills, separation anxiety & rehoming to name a few. Being surrounded by multiple dogs has been invaluable hands-on experience whether walking, fostering or training.

Her dogs have taught her so much: forgiveness, loyalty, trust, patience. Sunny was a shut down, scared rescue. Banjo, snapped at a child in the home and Amanda’s biggest influence, Jessie, reactive, clever, strong-willed collie cross from Ireland. Sweet perfect Harlequin her 1st border collie puppy – Amanda now passes this on to others through her teaching.
