Reactive Dog Community Membership

Here at Essential Canine Life Skills we recognise the embarrassment and awkwardness it can cause by owning a reactive dog. We also recognise these dogs require a different approach to training.

By becoming a member of our Reactive Dog Community within a franchise area you are signing up to bespoke training, support and access to other members. Our trainers will only work with a limited number of dogs at any one time.

Membership includes

Safe place for reactive dog owners with a group community chat
A private 1-2-1 mutual goal setting meeting
One online class a week
One direct training evaluation every 2 months within the community (if dog’s progress then this training session may be with other dogs working in the community)
Supervised Parallel Walking if appropriate

Cost will be £65 per month by standing order and dogs will require an initial assessment visit for suitability (£145).

Minimum membership 6 months.

Responsible Dog Ownership Scheme

Here at Essential Canine Life Skills we recognise that not everyone can attend regular classes but still would like the support of trainers pointing them in the right direction and working towards our usual assessment.

The Responsible Dog Ownership Scheme is your place to be. Following an initial home visit (£145) you will join others on the scheme in a community group. You will receive 1 x private online training session per week with your trainer.

You will also receive 1 x assisted walk in the community every 8 weeks. Access to class spaces if available and discounted direct training as and when required. You will work towards our usual assessments and certificates and will be presented with these when appropriate.

By having access to the community group you will also be able to enjoy group walks from time to time.

A real great package for those with inflexible diaries.

Cost £65 per month (standing order).

Other Services

All our exclusive franchise areas are run by hand selected professional small business owners, whether they are trainers themselves or employ highly qualified staff you can be reassured the Essential Canine Life Skills brand is one they are all very proud of.

They are unique in what they are offering, and some will have expertise in dog sports.

Essential Canine Life Skills are proud to be able to offer unique dog walking services. All our dog walkers will have completed the dog handling and husbandry module of The Spirit Dog Trainer Accredited Course and can tailor your dog walking experience to your needs and requirements. They also may be able to offer 1-2-1 training walks for your dog with feedback to you for continued support.

As part of their contract your local trainers have to ensure 25 hours of CPD are completed each year, and so can be very varied in what they are able to offer you. Be it multi dog issues, aggression or simple pet dog problems then they are there to help.
